I attended college first at Southern Utah University and then transferred to the University of Utah after serving an LDS mission to Argentina.  I studied voice for 8 years and majored in Music Education with an emphasis in choir.  Before teaching in Salt Lake District, I taught choir for 2 years at Kennedy Junior High in Granite School District.  After that I moved to Florida briefly, and taught choir at Sebastian River Middle School for 2 years.  I have been in Salt Lake District for going on 7 years now.  I teach at Highland Park, Bonneville, and Whittier.  In the seven years teaching in the district I have taught at 9 elementary schools!  I specialize in General Music and Choir, but I have also been teaching violins for the past 6 years.  I have three great kids, Chris (19), Nathalia (11), and Josh (7).  Nathalia and Josh attend Highland Park Elementary, because it is the best school in the district, even though we don't live in the boundaries.  I always brag that I have the best job in the world and I love all of the Highland Park students!
